New Progs in Diamond Jubilee

To mark the diamond jubilee year Akashwani Pune is starting broadcast of two new programs. One is "akashwani mazya mani" on 1st 3rd and 5th Tuesday from 2nd October 2012 at 8.40 Am in which you will able to listen to interaction with the dignitaries associated with AIR Pune for the long in the past. The another one is on every Wednesday at 8.40 Am "sathauttarachi kahani" program based on the archival recordings available with the station. Listen to both and join with the celebration of your beloved Akashwani.  

Diamond Jubilee Year

Akashwani pune is entering in to its diamond jubilee year on 2nd October 2012. To inaugurate this prestigious occasion a wonderful stage songs concert has been arranged on the day at 6 pm at Akashwani pune auditorium. The performing artists are 1- smt. Madhuvanti Dandekar, 2- shri. Ravindra Ghangurde, 3- smt. Manjiri Alegaonkar, 4- shri. Hrishikesh Bodas. The accompanists are 1- Tabla- shri. Madhav Modak, 2- Organ-  shri. Rajeev Paranjpe, 3- violin- shri. Ramakant Paranjpe.

AIR reaches Talegaon

It was great day for all of us when we visited the govt. primary school at talegaon 60 km out of Pune town. The village situated in the lap of Nature had so many things to teach us the city dwellers, like minimal use of resorces, cleanliness, mutual respect and above all the warmth with which they recieved AIR team.

We were there to cover a music program organised by .......

I was accompanied with ajay, kiran, vinod from AIR Pune and pumped in our whole energy to record the young voices. These will be on air on 24.09.2012 at....KHz ie ........ meter band.
